Ms. Thompson and Mrs. Cowart’s Math Classes participated in a FUN “Escape Room” activity in the CHS Media Center. The students worked through problems and puzzles to get to “escape” from their room. They did a great job and had fun while learning!

The CHS CyberPatriot teams competed on Saturday in the state competition. Led by Mr. Blakemore, our Computer Science teacher at Carrollton High School, the CHS CyberPatriot team is off to a great start!
Carrollton High School had a special visit from Ryan Currier, Assistant Professor of Geology at UWG occurred this week to Mr. Hawig's Environmental Science. He spent several seasons as a science researcher in Antarctica and shared how data is collected on the coldest place on Earth. From the history of exploration to rock formations, flora and fauna were presented. It was especially noted that the largest river on the continent is about the same size as our Buffalo Creek! |
