Students in Mrs. Rogers Anatomy and Physiology class are modeling the brains they made in class on Friday! What a fun, hands-on activity for her students!
Today the CHS CyberPatriot team competed along with hundreds of schools across the country. The CyberPatriot Program is a partnership between the Air Force and JROTC to teach student service members and civilian students about Cyber Security. Our teams will advance to Round 2 in December. Students in Mrs. Sewell’s AP Environmental Science class collected soil samples from around campus to determine the type of soil texture found. After completion of the lab, students used a soil triangle to determine the texture of most of our soil to be sand, sandy loam or clay loam. Students are currently learning about physical, chemical and biological properties of soil. What a neat learning activity for these students! |
